Paper Called My Mind

I wonder if I can count the number of songs I’ve written in the shower.

Are you near me

Or do you want to stay away

Can you hear me

Or will you stay deaf all the way

‘Cause I can’t keep fighting for someone who doesn’t love at all

And yet I know that you’ll be there to catch me when I fall

I want you, you’re a freak

I need you, you’re a creep

What you mean to me I can’t decide

I love you baby

I hate you can’t you see

Precarious on a rope so tight

You’re drawing circles on a paper called my mind

Will you take me

Bu the hand and fly up high

Will you save me

From this endless, breathless time

‘Cause I can’t see beyond all the smoke and mirrors

And you keep on changing the roads and now I’m stuck between the tear – filled rivers

I want you, you’re a freak

I need you, you’re a creep

What you mean to me I can’t decide

I love you baby

I hate you can’t you see

Precarious on a rope so tight

You’re drawing circles on a paper called my mind

I can’t stand it

All of this uncertainty

I feel stranded

Sealed the lock and lost the key

And I’m simply amazed by your ability to confuse

‘Cause wide awake I fight but close my eyes and I see you

Am I stupid

For having past relied on you

Can I do this

Should I keep on pushing through

‘Cause I can’t even see the light at the end of the tunnel

And I know with my heart in play you could do whatever you want to

I want you, you’re a freak

I need you, you’re a creep

What you mean to me I can’t decide

I love you baby

I hate you can’t you see

You’re running circles in my mind

I want you, you’re a freak

I need you, you’re a creep

What you mean to me I can’t decide

I love you baby

I hate you can’t you see

Precarious on a rope so tight

You’re drawing circles on a paper called my mind
