You

The sound of shower water pouring down

The smell of citrus shampoo

The feel of my wet hand on your muscled chest

And the taste on my lips is you

Aren’t hotel rooms the greatest

There’s nothing really here to do

I don’t have a care in the world

The only thing on my mind is you

The cherry blossom colored blush on my cheek

Is not for anyone else to see

My heart beats calmly under the blankets with you

I love when it’s just you and me

A silver butterfly on my left ring finger

A little red turtle on my wrist

Can I hold onto these thoughts of you

Can I hang our first kiss on my lips

I miss the smell of your bedroom

Such a man’s room through and through

I miss the comfort of your arms around me

Completely surrounded by you

Are you singing just for me

I love the sound of your laugh, too

I want to see you smiling forever

I want to fill my head with you

It’s so exciting when you turn off the light

And come to lie down next to me

Do I reach the furthest corners of your heart

I want to fill my heart with you

I want to stay like this forever

I will always be with you

Lay my head on your chest and hold me in your arms

Baby, say to me, “I love you, too”
