Where Do I Go

It’s supposed to feel warm

But I guess it’s cold outside

I don’t know how long

I

Can hide

This way

The water’s getting colder

The draft’s hitting my shoulder

But I cannot let go of

This safe space

The water’s getting colder

But I cannot ignore the

Fact that I still haven’t sorted

Through all of

This pain

So where do I go now

Where do I go

If I throw my control out

And can’t stay home

I’m scared I might know how

To make you grow

But at what expense, oh oh

Where do I go now

Where do I go

When you make no sense

I wish I could take a walk

But the summer’s long gone

I

Can compromise

And stay

The water’s getting colder

The draft’s hitting my shoulder

But I cannot let go of

This safe space

The water’s getting colder

But I cannot ignore the

Fact that I still haven’t sorted

Through all of

This pain

So where do I go now

Where do I go

If I throw my control out

And can’t stay home

I’m scared I might know how

To make you grow

But at what expense, oh oh

Where do I go now

Where do I go

When you make no sense

The water’s getting colder

The draft’s hitting my shoulder

But I cannot let go of

This safe space

The water’s getting colder

But I cannot ignore the

Fact that I still haven’t gone a-

way

So where do I go now

Where do I go

If I throw my control out

And can’t stay home

I’m scared I might know how

To make you grow

But at what expense, oh oh

Where do I go now

Where do I go

When you make no sense
