You Know Me

This is the last one I wrote without feelings. I promise. Uh, and, I realize now that it’s hard to keep tempo with this one. I can sing it if I have to but it has a really strange rhythm. And it crescendos a lot. Um, have fun, I guess…?

I’ve seen your reflection so many times in the looking glass

I can walk through your city with a blindfold and still make it back

Day after day I’m a part of your life

I’ve lost track of what is yours and what’s mine

And still I am unable to make you laugh

I thought I knew you better than anyone

Better than the sky thinks it knows the sun

I try and I try albeit to no avail

This isn’t some ridiculous fairytale

And still I cannot make you laugh

I’ve lost focus from where I used to be

I spread my wings wide and beg the sky to let me be free

You’ve torn my heart open and seen everything I couldn’t see

I know nothing at all about you but you know me

Voce me conhece, oh, you know me

At this time on a Monday you would take your walk through the park

And stop in the shop that sells stones that shine in the dark

Diamonds and gems all in their rows

Something that I should never know

But I am so curious about your heart

I’ve lost focus from where I used to be

I spread my wings wide and beg the sky to let me be free

You’ve torn my heart open and seen everything that I couldn’t see

I know nothing at all about you but you know me

אתה מכיר מה שבתוכי, oh, you know me

From childhood and further down you’ve been bearing your scars

And the fact that I don’t know them means I don’t know who you are

Again and again you cry in your bed

And you can’t get out of the misery inside your head

And I can’t pick you apart

I’ve lost focus from where I used to be

I spread my wings wide and beg the sky to let me be free

You’ve torn my heart open and seen everything that I couldn’t see

I know nothing at all about you but you know me

당신은  나를  알고, oh, you know me
